Embroidery is back!

Embroidery is back! Especially "petit point" embroideries with flowers, preferably antique ones. I bought the latest number of the magazine "Antik världen" and they had an full article just about embroidered cushions. I found one cushion for my self this weekend in Nora from the 1940s and today I bought one from the1890s at "Old touch" in Stockholm. This one has pearls embroidered on to it, absolutely beautiful! I would like to have an old chair or even a sofa filled with embroideries, but for now I think I have to be satisfied with the cushions, will look lovely on our bed!

The article in "Antik världen"
Pearl embroidered cushion from the1890s, Old touch, 400 kr
More embroidered cushions from Old touch, 150-550 kr
