If you're looking for an apartment

You should buy my sister's! They are moving to a house in Waxholm and are selling their wonderful cozy apartment in Aspudden. On the pictures the apartment is extremely empty due to the coming show, normaly it's not that minimalistic. Still it's quite colorful! Check it out!

Sunday inspiration; Rocking the rocking chair!

I've dreamt about having a rocking chair for a long time! It's something almost meditatively about rocking in a rocking chair and maybe drink a whiskey or read, or my favorite combo; rocking and embroider! Do that for an hour and I can guarantee you will feel relaxed. It must be something about rocking that makes one calm, something that reminds you about when your parents rocked you to sleep in their arms or in a cradle. Anyway, I found a Thonet-style rocket chair last week on Blocket and just had to buy it! So now I have found one of the things on my 2014 list; a rattan rocking chair!

My chair:

Animal planters

I just found the most perfect DIY idea for your plants. You take an old plastic animal in optional size ( It's nice to mix different sizes I guess) and then you make a hole in the animal's back and fill it with soil and a small plant, and voila; you have a beautiful animal flower pot! Then you can of course spray paint the animal in whatever color you prefer. Really easy! I think I will make myself a small collection...

If you don't want to do it yourself, I also found some very nice ceramic pots, especially from Miriam Brugmann. You can buy her work at Etsy.

I love pink!
